"Opening in the Tretyakov Gallery"

On June 17, 2024, the Tretyakov Gallery opened a unique exhibition "The Wall and the Word: A Russian monastery on the border with Heaven.

Sergey and Ksenia Grishchenko, co-owners of Gartallery: "For our gallery, this is the first joint project with the Tretyakov Gallery and brilliant people and our friends Eduard Boyakov and Mikhail Rozanov. It is significant in that it includes not only unique photographs of Russian monasteries, but also carries a deep meaning. Visitors of the exhibition will be able to touch all the spiritual wealth of our country – its history, culture and Russian code. If we look at the world today, we will see that Russia is the only country in which monasteries are being revived, being a stronghold of Heaven on earth. We wish the authors of the project and visitors of the exhibition blessed days. And if someone decides to visit the monastery after visiting the exhibition, then all our efforts are not in vain."
